Status: Completed
Duration: 2010 - 2013
Contact: Andrea Scharnhorst Ph.D.

CLARIN stands for Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure. The project offers researchers in the field of language, text and speech access to data and research instruments throughout Europe. CLARIN in this way stimulates knowledge and data exchange between linguists, historians, speech technologists, communications scientists and many others. One of CLARIN’s main targets is ensuring the availability of resources in a directly usable form, such as lexica and corpora, for each language in the European Union. DANS participates in several research projects within the CLARIN-NL project. As CLARIN Centre, DANS becomes an important link in the CLARIN infrastructure.
