Why this workshop
In addition to appropriate licensing, the reuse of research data also depends on interoperability. Interoperable data can support interdisciplinary research and enable new forms of analysis and collaboration across domains. Many contemporary research fields have emerged through the combination of methods, data and perspectives from different disciplines.
This workshop explores the use of common standards and examines how research data can be reused beyond their original intended purpose.
What will you learn?
In this one-hour session, we will take the perspective of a potential data depositor and explore the application of common metadata standards and the added value they can provide, including:
- Comparative analyses
- Complex computations
- Interdisciplinary research
- EOSC interoperability and reuse possibilities
Target audience
Researchers and data depositors
The session encourages participants to reflect on their own practices and experiences relating to complex data analysis and interdisciplinary research. You can share your reflections through the registration form below.
