Celebration of 20 years of the Places & Spaces: Mapping Science exhibit.

The Open Science Community Utrecht ambassadors from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Utrecht University are organizing a symposium about Open Science in qualitative research. It takes place at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht at Utrecht Science Park. The event will consist of several sessions with inspiring speakers, e.g. Ricarda Brauckmann of DANS, and the opportunity to meet one another.

More and more research data are generated using sensing technologies, such as data from drones, GPS trackers, or sensors on the human body. These sensor data offer new opportunities for research, but also bring their own specific problems and challenges. At the โ€˜LEF Future Centerโ€™ in Utrecht, participants, together with a number of experience experts, will delve deeper into especially the ethical and legal aspects of using data from sensors.
