DANS Data Archive
The DANS data archive collection contains thousands of datasets in the fields of humanities, archaeology, geospatial sciences and behavioural and social sciences. Contracts have been concluded with various institutions, such as the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), the Dutch Land Registry Office (Kadaster), Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and the national government, with regard to the delivery of new data for scientific research.

DANS EASY: eenvoudig en snel data zoeken of deponeren

Online archiving system EASY
The online archiving system EASY provides direct access to the data contained in the collections of the DANS data archive. Data and documentation files can be downloaded free of charge. In some cases, prior permission from the original researcher is required, but a large part of the collection is available as Open Access publications. EASY can also be used for the online depositing of your own research data.

Humanities – the historical collection
The historical collection comprises a broad range of historical datasets, which relate to the Netherlands and the former Dutch colonies, or which are created by Dutch historians.

The archaeological collection comprises the e-Depot for Dutch Archaeology, which consists of archived reports and datasets per archaeological organisation and specific projects.

The social sciences collection comprises a large number of social sciences data relating to the Netherlands from 1962 to the present.
