Annual Academic award 2012
Creative scientists, who want to present their research in an appealing way to a large audience, this year stand a chance of winning 100,000 euros to realize their ideas. Until Monday, April 2, teams of researchers can register for the Annual Academic Award 2012. The assignment is to make a persuasive communication plan.
The prize
With the prize of 100,000 euros, a team of scientists, PhD's and students can make the winning proposal a reality. Furthermore the three finalists compete in the Labyrinth-audience prize, organized by the VPRO/NTR television program of the same name. The winner of which acquires an editorial shoot in one of the Labyrinth broadcasts.
The Annual Academic Prize aims to motivate researchers, PhD's and students to bring the results of their research under the attention of a wide audience. The competition is open to teams of the Dutch universities, UMC's, research institutes affiliated to the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research or the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, TNO, GTIs and other non-commercial research.
